You've probably already seen the White Spirit bot on Discord – a little bot that has everything from infographics, to utility commands like scheduled messages, to live lookups and event alerts, basically all you would ever need for a Black Desert Mobile Discord server. White Spirit has grown a lot over the years, beyond anything I could've ever imagined, but it was limited by what the Discord API had to offer... which can get really annoying, especially when dealing with embeds.

This bot served as an alternative to websites like bdm.tools or Dbonk, except it was entirely on Discord. So why have another website, that does exactly the same thing? Well, a few reasons actually:

• White Spirit Diamond users increasingly started asking for a web interface to manage the bot.
• I wanted something that not only had more powerful lookups and up to date player data, but also looked aesthetically pleasing.
• Discord's embed limitations turned into pure headaches: Adding a graph to an embed made the whole embed smaller, which in turn caused content to break up, thumbnails reduce the available space, and so on...
• Web interfaces allow you to visualize virtually anything.
• This was a personal challenge to learn new technologies.
